A Canada-wide network<\/h2>\n

The Greater Montreal Climate Fund is a member of the Low Carbon Cities Canada (LC3) network, which helps cities and communities achieve their carbon reduction potential. This initiative is implemented in partnership by seven local centres and the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM).<\/p>\n

Funded by an endowment from the Government of Canada through FCM, the LC3 network is part of a national investment in climate action to accelerate urban climate solutions and help Canada achieve its national climate goal of carbon neutrality by 2050.<\/p>\n

The strength of our network<\/h2>\n

The LC3 network was created to accelerate peer-to-peer learning, support the scaling of proven low-carbon initiatives across regions, and streamline national reporting and communications. Serving as the network\u2019s secretariat, the national office\u2014hosted by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities\u2019 Green Municipal Fund (GMF)\u2014also facilitates collaboration and generates economies of scale for shared services, enhancing the impact of local climate actions nationwide.<\/p>\n
