Strong potential for bicycle development in Boucherville and Rosemère

The Vélorution Couronne project aims to initiate a significant change in behavior in the communities of Boucherville and Rosemère, where only 2% of trips are made by bicycle. This figure reveals a strong potential for the development of Vélonomie. By facilitating access to bicycles and empowering residents, Cyclo Nord-Sud aims to increase bicycle use, thereby contributing to a reduction in local GHG emissions and cleaner, more sustainable mobility.
The project also fosters social inclusion and equity by targeting people in isolated and/or precarious situations. By spreading Velonomy, it offers these marginalized groups free and autonomous means of travel.
